Solar Photovoltaics (PV) - costs, grants & products
Greenearth Energy is an accredited installer for the Low Carbon Buildings Programme.
Typical costs
System costs vary from module to module, system to system, and according to whether the system is grid connected or not. Typical costs are in the region of £6,000 per kWp before any grants. The cost per kWp for larger installations (above 5kWp) drops to around £5,500 per kWp before grants.
Grants
Grants of up to 50% are available from the Low Carbon Buildings Programme, administered by the Energy Saving Trust. In some areas further grants may be available from your local authority or similar authority.
Please contact us for up to date information on grants in your area. We will be happy to help you apply for the LCBP grant. This is a very straightforward process and you can establish (usually within a day) whether you qualify for a grant before committing to buying a PV system.
Products
Greenearth is an independent installer and so we can choose the best PV products available on the market. We will specify the product that best suits your project. The products we supply are all on the approved list for grant assisted projects.
