Flat Roof and Gable Mounted Systems
There are a variety of products on the market for mounting solar photovoltaic modules on flat roofs. Some use steel frame systems and others moulded plastic consoles. Both systems avoid penetration of the roof's waterproofing membrane with the use of either ballast or steel bracing against roof edges.
The systems are designed to be light so that the majority of flat roof structures can cope with the extra loading. We also design and build bespoke steel frames for mounting systems on the gable ends of buildings.
