How to go from reading our web site to having your own biomass system:
Step 1: Phone us on 01981 241 399 and have a chat. We can talk through your ideas and generally get a feeling for how feasible they are.
Step 2: We'll send you some literature on our products (or download here)
Step 3: We'll also send you a self-survey form (or download here).
Step 4: You fill out the self-survey form and return it to us - we just need some basic information about size of property, the type of heating system you currently have, the amount of fuel you consume, etc. The more information you can provide the better.
Step 5: Assuming your property is suitable we will come and do a preliminary survey for you. We charge £150 for this, which is deductable from any future installation cost.
Step 6: At this point you can talk through any issues or concerns that you have and ask about anything you are still unclear about.
Step 7: Based on the survey, we will calculate an approximate heat loss for the property and send you a price estimate with details of the amount of wood fuel you will use per year.
Step 8: If you want to take the project further we will come out and do a detailed design survey and produce detailed AutoCAD drawings for the system. We will also carry out a detailed room-by-room analysis of the heat loss for the property and provide a firm quote for the installation. This detailed design costs £400 to £500.
Step 9: If you are happy with the price, you send us a 25% deposit and we arrange a date for installation.
Step 10: We install your system with minimal disturbance to your property. It usually takes 1 week for small systems, 2 weeks for larger multi-property or chip systems.
Step 11: The week after the installation we commission the system, which usually takes 1 or 2 days.
Step 12: You start heating your home on biomass.
Step 13: We provide all the operation manuals and building regulation documentation.
Step 14: We invoice you for the final 75% of the project cost.

New incentive for biomass projects
The Governement recently announced that they intend to launch a Renewable Heat Incentive in April 2011. For an average domestic system this could be worth £2,000 to £3,000 pa.
